CDF uses an "assignment of receivables" model where a vendor is paid quickly for receivables generated to dealers, and terms to resellers may be extended to better meet dealer cash flow requirements and sales patterns. CDF may also use a model where goods are actually purchased from the vendor and sold to resellers. Services are currently provided for vendor companies located outside of The Netherlands selling to dealers and resellers or for vendors located within The Netherlands. Programs offered may include scheduled payment plans (SPP) consistent with vendor terms, pay-as-sold plans (PAS), or customized programs designed to help vendors increase sales using finance terms as a sales tool. CDF's IMAX information system is an account management tool that is multilingual and multi-currency and provides connectivity to manufacturers and retailers. Supplier Agreement CDF requires a Supplier Agreement with the vendor (manufacturer or distributor). Once the Supplier Agreement has been signed, the vendor provides CDF with a listing of target dealers. CDF contacts each dealer, makes a credit decision, and enters into an agreement with dealers who qualify for CDF credit lines.
